Meet Matt Genovese

A seasoned technologist and communicator who brings nearly 30 years of product development experience to conversations about AI, UX design, enterprise software, and the semiconductor industry.

Matt is the founder and CEO of Planorama Design, a product acceleration firm specializing in software requirements and user experience for complex enterprise systems. He also serves as Chief Product Officer of FlashQuery, an enterprise AI orchestration platform spun out of Planorama in 2025.

His career began in the semiconductor industry as a chip designer and functional verification engineer at Motorola, before pivoting to software product development across education, energy, semiconductors, and AI. He also founded and grew the largest technology community in Austin, Texas. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
