Senior Frontend Developer Contractor

(South America, Remote)

Planorama is UI/UX professional services firm for software products. For this particular role, we are looking for an experienced frontend (or full stack) developer available for contract / freelance to join a team building a SaaS web application. This is an hourly contractor role, paid in USD.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features for a new modern web application using detailed user stories and high-fidelity UI/UX designs
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize the application for best performance in terms of speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to backend
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

• Attention to detail with drive to create precise implementation of designs
• Excellent proficiency with web markup – HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
• Proficient with client-side scripting (Typescript)
• Proficient with AngularJS
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling
• Proficient with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git / Bitbucket
• Experience using Atlassian tools for project management (Jira)
• Familiarity with Agile software product development methodology / practices
• Nice-to-have, but not required: written and/or spoken fluency in English.
